Learn more about Subscribing
After you've found the podcasts and vodcasts you like, you'll probably want to subscribe to some of them so you get future updates automatically. There are various ways to do this, here some of them are explained.

'Private Channels' are created by the PodNova system and are personal for every account holder. These Channels will not show up in the directory, or in search results.
At the moment we have two types of Private Channels:
For every account holder we create a 'Clippings' Channel. This Channel can be very handy if you find a nice Episode in a Channel and you would like to get that specific Episode without subscribing to the entire Channel. You can collect Epiodes from different Channels and put them in your Clippings Channel by clicking the 'add clipping' button which is available on every Episode page through the site, it looks like this:

Friend Channels
Another type of Private Channel is created at the moment you add a friend. Then we create Private Channels between the two of you so you can share content. One Channel where you can send Episodes for your Friend, and one for you where you can receive Episodes from your Friend.
Public Channels
If you subscribe to Channels which you found through keyword search, the Top 40, the directory or just via a publisher's site, then you have subscribed to what we call 'Public Channels'. These Channels are published by other people around the world and the content is freely available to everyone.

Subscribe directly from the PodNova site
You can subscribe directly from the PodNova site by clicking the subscribe button which is located on all the Channel pages next to the title:
Subscribe directly from other sites
