Our 2-in-1 format was so well received I've decided to do it again. For newbies, 2-in-1 means that the songs are synched to provide a 30-minute segment within a 45-minute runset. Runners who just don't have time to complete the 45-minute workout can cool down and stop running at 30 minutes. Everyone else can go for 15 more minutes. The last segment includes a faster sprint before the second cool-down. Please tell us what you think at comments@jogtunes.com.
This show is a tribute to Adam Christianson and his podcast, the Maccast. Adam helped us get jogtunes.com on the map and then gave this podcast a kick start as well. The consummate Mac geek, he loves Macs and he also loves his music. I've searched his shows and found many tunes from his shows that are great for running exactly to the beat. I've included three of them in this episode.
Here are the artists (click to see their websites), songs, and BPMs:
Aroarah - My Biggest Mistake (172 BPM)
Andrew Osenga - Santa Barbara (160 BPM)
The New Addiction - The World is Over (162 BPM)
The other tunes come from a variety of sources. These include solicitations from the bands by email, for which I'm grateful. I've found some great artists this way. The Podsafe Music Network is another source of some of our songs. Sinch's return to the JTIP is from the PMN. Ian Martin also makes an encore appearance. I found him on the Journey Into Soul Podcast.
Ian Martin - You Are (123 BPM)
Rob Szabo - If I Could Do It All Again (149 BPM) - Girlfriends Ghost (162 BPM)
The Sledge Dogs - The Running Man (118 BPM)
Uncle Seth - A Little Bit More (158 BPM)
46bliss - The Way You Are (178 BPM)
Dirty Rig - Rock Did It (168 BPM)
Sinch - Identity Theft (153 BPM)
The Weak Need - Do You Feel Me Now (125 BPM)
