I'm excited about this show because I've put a genre emphasis on alternative music. This is new for the JTIP and I'm eager to find out if listeners enjoy working out to these tunes.

If you've never run to a tune in three-quarter time (a waltz), you'll get your first chance while listening to Pippa Rogers' Day After Day. It really works! The BPM is 152.

From Green Dragon Media I found:

  • Dialog
  • Pippa Rogers
  • Homespun
  • From IODA (the Independent Online Distribution Alliance) comes:

  • King of Prussia
  • Atllas
  • The Drawbacks
  • Thanks also go to the following promoters for informing me about their artists:

  • Kara from Sarathan Records sent me another great tune by Abra Moore whom I previously played on episode #12.
  • Portia Records introduced me to Respira.
  • Brianna from Platform One Entertainment alerted me to Athens.
  • The outro is an encore by Momo-J, from Tokyo.

Please note that episode #6 of this show has was not completely uploaded. I updloaded it again and it's now complete. I know many listeners like to run to previous shows (they never really age, do they?). So please feel free to download it again from iTunes or from my website. (This link takes you to the complete list of shows. When you go there, please scroll down to episode #6.)

You're invited to check out the playlist for this episode for more details, including purchase links and band websites. You can find past shows and all the tunes from these shows at jogtunesindie.com.

If you enjoy indoor cycling, take the JTIP for a spin. You can get some hints on cycling to the beat at my website, BikeToTheBeat.com.

Thanks for joining me in working out to the beat. I welcome your financial support of my efforts and thank everyone who has already donated. Please go to jogtunesindie.com for details.
