Queso Compuesto: Calling Zune Customer Support - Episode Six
This may be my last customer support call on the skipping issue with the Zune. In the end on this call I pressured the Tier 2 rep to send me a box to return the Zune. I should have held off, but the new rep was basically setting me up to wait for a fix on the firmware.

The interesting thing about this call is hearing the rep basically give up on my problem. I guess I can't blame them if they don't know what's wrong and don't know how to fix it. But the attempt to just make the consumer wait for some undefined amount of time until there is a fix is unacceptable. So I'm left with returning this Zune. Final score, 6 calls and 7 reps. Now...I need to try to get the first Zune that was returned to me set up and see if THAT one has the same issue.
