Episode 016: Springing The Kids Table or Big D, Man
Episode 16 becomes the second double interview episode of Top Welt! with Avi, the owner of Springman Records, and Big D and the Kids Table joining the hosts. Avi helps explain the origins of Springman, what it's like running your own record label, what they have in store for the future, as well as some damn good stories, including an apology for being indirectly responsible for Fall Out Boy. Big D then helps fans catch up with the band's new endeavors, including a mention of the new record label they plan to release their next album with. It also gets plain silly when Bill and Kevin encourage David McWane to take out some ducks using someone's child. It's everything you'd expect with a Big D interview. Contest 007 is announced, which will have five winners, each of which will receive a t-shirt and label sampler from Springman. The Draft, Against Me! and Guttermouth are also covered in music. The only movie covered this week is Citizen Kane, but Bill and Kevin talk about Lifeline and Super Mario Strikers in games. Songs played on this episode include 'LAX', 'Checklist', 'Scenester', and 'Those Kids Suck' by Big D and the Kids Table, 'Fight' and 'The White Recluse' by Pain, and 'My Thrills' by The Teenage Harlots.
