I did not plan it this way when I originally wrote this book in 1984. It was the first book on the Irish in Missouri. Kansas City, St. Louis and the Irish Wilderness were included. For some reason, out of all 60 books I have written or published, this one seemed to be the favorite of most people from Ireland ! It goes back to the first settlers in the area, and includes those who came from down south and those who traveled to Oregon and points west.....
