Yan Wang: Transportation Planning is Big Business in Beijing
ENR Editor-in-Chief Jan Tuchman took advantage of attending a McGraw-Hill Construction event in Beijing to add some international flair to the theme issue A Day in the World of Construction. She shadowed Yan Wang, manager of urban and transportation planning in the Beijing office of Parsons Brinckerhoff China. On a drive across the city in Beijings notorious traffic, they took advantage of the time to record this podcast about her groups most exciting projects (such as traffic and pedestrian studies for the 2008 Olympics) and its future.
