The Prince Who Worked With A King (Carl)
Italian Michele Morisetti is a true prince of a man, and his CV illustrates it: he worked with World Superbike's one true King - Carl Fogarty. In addition, he worked closely with an amazing number of other legendary riders, including Troy Bayliss, Ben Bostrom, and the interesting flames-and-tinder MotoGP combo of Max Biaggi and one Valentino Rossi. Born from Italian and American parents, Morisetti's first language was actually... French (he'll explain) thus, his English might not impress the people at Oxford. Example: "MM" as he is known around 'Soup, explains how racing against Rossi might seem from another rider's perspective: "...to found him in the corner I don't think is a thing very nice". Michele's love of racing, enthusiasm and respect for the sport shine through no matter how his interpretation of the English language may sound, and for the record we prefer his English over our own. This Soupkast was recorded last Summer at Monza. That great racetrack, especially in these frozen frickin' solid winter days, sounds really good to us right now. Thanks to Rob vLS for the technical help on this 'kast. And we can't let the number 43 slide by without a tip of the Soup stocking cap to one of our first racing heroes, possibly the fastest man to ever wear number 43: Mike Baldwin. The fastest American guy to ever come from where blood runs blue.
