Knackered, Mick is calling it a night as he heads back for some rest, 300 miles toward his day 3 quota already in the bag.
Over 2000miles in the book, Mick is closing in on the halfway mark. Hitting the Red Bull, he's fighting off the aches, pains, and fatigue and pushing on for his charities.
Closing in on Glasgow (again), Mick ponders whether to head to Land's End while the weather holds.

Tantalizingly close to John O'Groats, Mick is now back in the weather. Stay tough, Mate, you're almost home for the night!
On his second night, and now past the 1000 mile mark, Mick finds himself in darkest Scotland, closing in on John O'Groats.
